Our
rates
The
price of a translation depends on the number of words in the text provided
and the chosen language combination. Each language combination has a fixed
word price.
The
number of words (in thousands) in the translation multiplied by the price
(per thousand words) is the final invoice amount. Translation fees are
normally quoted in £ per thousand words.
As
a guide the average word-count per page for a commercial document
is 300 words. A solid text of normal sized A4 would be approx. 500
words. If the document is in Word then use the word count in Word.

Other languages
- from £160, by quotation.
Minimum charge £50.

Other
charges
For
most translations the standard charges apply. However, additional charges
may be applicable, subject to sight of the original document, for example:
- Work
required in special formats
- Extensive
or specialist tables and charts
- Powerpoint
Presentations
- Translations
where the translator's professional subject input is required (e.g
certain types of legal, medical, technical, or other professional
documents, where professional rates may also apply. However, we always
allocate your work to a translator with experience or qualifications
related to the subject matter and this is included in the standard
translation charge.
- Where
documents require validation or notarisation, standard charges for
this service apply.
Where
additional proofreading is required, e.g. for publication ready documents,
or where proofreading by another translator is required. (Standard charges
include normal checking by the translator and our own quality control
checks). Our
quotation will take into account project size and other factors. Rates
are flexible and adaptable to individual customer needs and pricing systems.
Customer-specific service contracts are available for regular customers,
allowing for an even more competitively priced translation service. Free,
no-obligation estimates are available for each translation order. |
